Voter registration forms are available at the Registrar of Voters Office located in the Flynn Administration Building at 981 H Street, Crescent City, CA.  Forms are also available at all offices of the Department of Motor Vehicles and public libraries. Persons may also call the Registrar of Voters at 707-465-0383 or the Secretary of State at 1-800-345-VOTE and a registration form will be mailed to you.

QUALIFICATIONS TO REGISTER AND VOTE IN CALIFORNIA

A person entitled to register to vote must be:

  • A United States citizen, and a resident of California,
  • At least 18 years old or older on Election Day, 
  • Not currently serving a state or federal prison term for the conviction of a felony, and
  • Not currently found mentally incompetent to vote by a court.

The voter registration deadline is 15 days before an election.
