The North Coast EMS (NCEMS) engaged EndPoint EMS Consulting (EndPoint) in January 2025 to conduct
a comprehensive assessment of Del Norte County’s EMS system. Phase one of the project is now
complete, and the written EMS Assessment Report is available on the NCEMS website:
www.northcoastems.com.

As part of this review, EndPoint was tasked with developing recommendations grounded in industry
standards, evidence-based medicine, and best practices. These recommendations will serve as the
foundation for the upcoming ambulance Request for Proposal (RFP).
The project has reached a critical point where NCEMS is seeking broad stakeholder input on key
elements of the future ambulance system design.
