Notice of Public Meeting for Discussion of Possible State CDBG-CV2/CV3 Application  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Crescent City (CITY) and the County of Del Norte (COUNTY) will conduct a public meeting on October 19, 2020 at 3:00 p.m., via Zoom.  This Public Hearing can be accessed via Zoom.  You can find the link to the Zoom session on the County website by clicking the following link: 

Property Tax Penalty Waiver Form  If you have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 crisis and were unable to pay your taxes timely, you may be eligible for a penalty waiver.  See Penalty Waiver Form for more information.

The second installment of the 2020/21 Secured Property Taxes are due as of February 1, 2021.  If the installment is not paid by April 12th, 2021, a 10% late penalty and a $10.00 cost fee will apply.  If you have not received your bill, please contact the Tax Collector's office at (707) 464-7283.Pay Taxes Online Now The Tax Collector's office is currently open to the public.

The Del Norte County Tax Collector’s office will hold an online public auction for defaulted properties, subject to the Power to Sell, May 14th-17th, 2021. Please click here for more information. 

Hazard Mitigation Plan: The County is in the process of updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP)‎.  This site will provide more information about the project and progress that has been made.

Del Norte County Hazard Mitigation Questionnaire.
A range of natural and human-caused disasters can affect any community.  To maintain a high level of preparedness, we need your help to identify and plan for future disasters by completing this survey.

Do you want to help keep your roadsides clean and attractive? You can by participating in the Del Norte County Adopt-A-Road, a program that allows for private assistance with litter removal along County maintained roads. Your business or community group can help keep roads litter-free by "adopting" a minimum of 1 mile of County maintained road for a two-year period. Please see the County Adopt-A-Road Program Guide for full details.

The goal of this project is to develop goals and strategies to address/end homelessness in our community.  During the course of this planning, the County hopes to obtain information from this outreach that will provide the data needed to address our current homeless outreach and address the expansion of the services available in our community.

The County is seeking community input on the draft plan and provide suggestions on any and all activities that are currently in process or that will be initiated to address or end homelessness. Click here for more information.

The Del Norte County Regional Airport offers free parking and free Wifi. The airport is operated by the Border Coast Regional Airport Authority, a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) with a Board of Directors comprised of representatives from Del Norte County, the City of Crescent City, the Elk Valley Rancheria, Tolowa Dee Ni', City of Brookings, Oregon and Curry County, Oregon.
