As you are aware, Del Norte County has moved to the purple tier or Widespread Tier 1 status due to the significant increase in COVID-19 case activity within our community.
In order to protect County employees as well as members of the public, the County is limiting public access to all County facilities beginning Monday, November 30, 2020.
In-person meetings may be accommodated by contacting departments directly. The limitations will be similar to those enacted back in April. The County will continue to evaluate the situation in two week increments or when a reduction in tier status occurs.

Do you want to help keep your roadsides clean and attractive? You can by participating in the Del Norte County Adopt-A-Road, a program that allows for private assistance with litter removal along County maintained roads. Your business or community group can help keep roads litter-free by "adopting" a minimum of 1 mile of County maintained road for a two-year period. Please see the County Adopt-A-Road Program Guide for full details.

The goal of this project is to develop goals and strategies to address/end homelessness in our community.  During the course of this planning, the County hopes to obtain information from this outreach that will provide the data needed to address our current homeless outreach and address the expansion of the services available in our community.

The County is seeking community input on the draft plan and provide suggestions on any and all activities that are currently in process or that will be initiated to address or end homelessness. Click here for more information.
