On December 1-3, 2018 the Tax Collector’s office will hold a public auction of tax-defaulted personal property mobile homes.  Click here for more information.  

The First Installment of the 2018/19 Secured Property Taxes are due as of November 1, 2018.  If the installment is not paid by December 10th, 2018, a 10% late penalty will apply.  If you have not received your bill, please contact the Tax Collector's office at (707) 464-7283. 

Hazard Mitigation Plan: The County is in the process of updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP)‎.  This site will provide more information about the project and progress that has been made.

Ordinance No 2017-005:  An interim urgency ordinance of the Del Norte County Board of Supervisors imposing a ban on the commercial cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, laboratory testing and sale of cannabis and cannabis products while the County considers comprehensive local cannabis regulations.

PUBLIC NOTICE:  Effective January 1, 2018, pursuant to SB 2 – Atkins, certain documents accepted for recording at the Del Norte County Recorder shall be charged an additional $75

A range of natural and human-caused disasters can affect any community.  To maintain a high level of preparedness, we need your help to identify and plan for future disasters by completing this survey.

Do you want to help keep your roadsides clean and attractive? You can by participating in the Del Norte County Adopt-A-Road, a program that allows for private assistance with litter removal along County maintained roads. Your business or community group can help keep roads litter-free by "adopting" a minimum of 1 mile of County maintained road for a two-year period. Please see the County Adopt-A-Road Program Guide for full details.

The Del Norte County Regional Airport offers free parking and free Wifi. The airport is operated by the Border Coast Regional Airport Authority, a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) with a Board of Directors comprised of representatives from Del Norte County, the City of Crescent City, the Elk Valley Rancheria, Tolowa Dee Ni', City of Brookings, Oregon and Curry County, Oregon.
